just got back from a weekend getaway to jb. well... not really a getaway, attended a relative's wedding. where i also attended my first HEN PARTY -arab style. !!

well the story goes.. my chinese gramma was adopted my an arab family and blah blah.. so this relative of mine, i do believe she's my aunt. a young aunt i must say; aunt sounds so ancient. yurp, she's the bride. and yesterday nught was her hen party of some sort. no guys allowed. just girls ladies and grannies! hee.. loud music fulla percussion was blasting and all were just dancing (belly and not) the night away. surely there were those who just stared on. in sheer amazement (ie myself and those on the not-so-happening sofa i had parked my butt on) or in sheer uninterest i must say (the others) haha. among the highlights incl:

my easily NINETY over, frail great-gramma being asked if she wana join in the mayhem... !!

the bride-to-be almost stomping onto an oblivious toddler plonked in the middle of the dance floor... !!

and surely me. making a fool of myslf when dragged to dance. the simple conclusion: i canT bludy hell belly dance, i look like a freaking scarecrow for crying out loud. but oh well, let's just pray they'll all forget tt silly goose skipping away. or so i thought. was told i seem to be kicking an invisible ball of some sort. oh gee... thx.. and emah, i;d appreciate it if you dont circulate those pix you took of cacat-ified me. thks. ;)

but it was an experience la. all the hullabaloo going on and what nots. :)
