just got home from kampong
to the uninformed: i have a kampong house.
no i am not malaysian by any chance
just a house near the sea
which my grampa bought
many years ago
and yeah
three hours away.
brilliant.

chanced upon a rather heartwarming scene on my way back home
was in the car
daddy drove as always
and there was this pair of foreign workers
sitting comfortably on a plank
at the back of a pick up truck
-you know those 13 pax sort-

what amazes netty was that they were so absorbed in their conversation
oblivious to the world
and the smiles that were painted on their faces.
they seemed so carefree...
brilliant.
