im back home
have been since yesterday afternoon

my goodness, i dont even know where i should start

padang panjang, where yana is, is a beautiful place
scenic mountains (you know those sort with cottony-like clouds near the hill top)
cool weather (yes, i admit to taking a shower just once a day; at night at that)
fresh air (EXCEPT when there's pple smoking in your face)

and there's something about the feeling of calm
what am i saying, there's this soothing calm atmosphere there

swear the minute the homebound place touched down,
and i got to know many a 'small sister' there too
extremely friendly, jovial boarding school girls
who gladly took my hand to show me around
and hugged me and shared with me

i sympathise with them really
not all are as privileged to enjoy a family visit

but heck
i was there and if i was the 'substitute' elder sister, then so be it
