i made it through the two labbies
thank you for being there, encouraging

yesterday
nuh: ent dept with eve
attended a speech therapy session

made me realise
how i've been taking
my ability to hear & communicate
for granted, astaghafirullah

initial overwhelming array of pure jargon
of cochlear implants & behind-the-ears
overcame with the willingness to do more

im feeling all excited
volunteering commences tuesday
and i know it'll be a learning point
_

missing the babyboo quite a bit this week
though he is calling, misscalling & beingdialed
_

stayed up last night
doing logarithm sums
in a bid to tutor more effectively

amazes me
although i get stuck periodically,
i can do these silly things
which i've never needed to live my life
from the time i learnt them till .. er.. ever?

but, oh well
_

basketfulla laundry & ironings, ~~urgh~~
but a date with miss suhaila said later
just makes my friday a weee bit better
