The one thing I DO want to talk about here is this.

My hair has recently acquired 1cm long white (YES WHITE AS IN GOLDEN GIRLS white) tips!

AND if it was one or two, I might just let it pass, but it's .. it's absolutely disgusting as it is silky 'cashmere' smooth! Now, I cant decide if it's worse than knots or split ends but I'm agreeable to say it falls in the same category. and My God, very very disturbing. but that got me thinking.. 'dont white hair start from the tips?' -_-
